HELP ME PLEASE!!! : I do not understand this question. I really need the help!
What point of view is used in “Was It a Dream?” How would a different point of view change your understanding of the character? In one to two paragraphs, explain your answer.
Who is telling the story? First person point of view = The author uses "I, me," or "mine." Second person point of view (rare) = The author uses "you" or "your." Third person point of view = The author is an outsider, telling the story using "he, she, they," or "them." ~ Figure out which point of view is used. Then, explain how a different point of view can change your understanding of the story.
I dont know what point of view though thats why im stuck
need help with this question also I started for school very late that morning and was in great dread of a scolding, especially because M. Hamel had said that he would question us on participles, and I did not know the first word about them. For a moment, I thought of running away and spending the day out of doors. It was so warm, so bright! The birds were chirping at the edge of the woods; and in the open field back of the sawmill the Prussian soldiers were drilling. It was all much more tempting than the rule for participles, but I had the strength to resist, and hurried off to school. When I passed the town hall there was a crowd in front of the bulletin board. For the last two years all our bad news had come from there—the lost battles, the draft, the orders of the commanding officer—and I thought to myself, without stopping: “What can be the matter now?” Which point of view is used in this excerpt? omniscient objective first person limited omniscient
How is the story told. Does the narrator use words like "I" and "me," or words like "he" and "they"? All you have to do is read a paragraph or two, to figure this out.
That is written in the first person. Just so you know, "omniscient" is third person.
so whats the one if it say i
First person. The paragraphs you posted are written in the first person.
Exposition A) The main character falls unconscious on the grave. Falling action B) The main character spends the night in the cemetery. Climax C) The main character reads the true inscription on his lover’s tombstone. Rising action D) We learn that the main character was madly in love.
I have to draw lines to each of them
I don't know the story, so I can't help you with that part. Sorry. :(
dag it
Just from the question, I'd say that A was Climax. But, I'm guessing.
what about this question----->> The title “Was It a Dream?” could be interpreted in different ways. Explain at least two ways that the title could be interpreted. Which interpretation do you think fits the story best? In one to two paragraphs, explain your answer.
@Peeps
Well, like I said, I've don't know the story, but it could mean that someone was actually sleeping and dreaming, or it could mean that someone has goals for the future. A dream.
*I* not I've.
