Use the Pythagorean Theorem... if "a" and "b" are the lengths of the legs of the triangle, then the diagonal "c" is given by: a^2 + b^2 = c^2 So you have "a" and "b" shown in the diagram... square each one, then add them... that will be equal c^2. Then take the square root of that sum... square root of c^2... to get "c", the length of the diagonal.
