Ms. Carr's class is selling magazine to rise money for a trip. the student in the class want to decide how much profit they'll make from each magazine they sell. p= profit made from each magazine sold m=money they want to rise n= number of magazine sold. rewrite the formula to determine the number of magazine they'll need to sell.

OpenStudy (lukebluefive):

The equation will look something like this to begin with: \[m = p \times n\] Since the amount of money they will raise is equal to the number of magazines times the amount of profit made on each magazine. Just divide both sides by the profit, p, in order to rewrite the equation in terms of n, the number of magazines they need to sell.

This isn't correct? \[n = \frac{m}{p}\]
