OpenStudy (aripotta):

undefined.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the table is.......where?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (aripotta):

10 - 7 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ITS 3! Woohoo I am a math wizz

OpenStudy (aripotta):

lol. 4 - 2 = ?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

i'm trying to show you how simple this is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is 7?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

:l stop it. the slope is 3/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find the slope you do \(\large{{y_2-y_1}\over{x_2-x_1}}\) [where \((x_1 ~,y_1)\) and \((x_2,~y_2)\)]...so lets say you have points \((a,b)\) and \((c,d)\), you would do \(\large{{d-b}\over{c-a}}\) and the result would be your slope...now lets try your given points: so choose any to adjacent set of points (ill choose \((2,7)\) and \((4,10)\):\[{y_2-y_1}\over{x_2-x_1}\]plug in the values into the formula:\[{10-7}\over{4-2}\]subtract:\[3\over2\]since this cannot be further simplified, \(\text{ the slope is \(\large{3\over2}\)}\) :)
