Okay.... I have a problem that I cannot seem to get correct. See the problem below:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ x^2+11x+28 }{ x^2+5x-14 }\div \frac{ x^2+2x-8 }{ 3x-6 }=\] Divide as indicated and simplify the answer.

OpenStudy (nubeer):

ok first try to make factors if you can..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did that... I am not coming up with the correct answer. Here is what I got for factors. (x-2)(x+7)/(x+4)(x+7) * 3(x-2)/(x+4)(x-2)

OpenStudy (nubeer):

your one root is incorrect as far as i can see.. dont u think it shold be (x+4)(x+7) please check again.

OpenStudy (nubeer):

ohh i see your fault.. why did u flipped the left side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was told to flip the equation and then multiply.

OpenStudy (nubeer):

you have to flip the side which is after the division sign not both sides.

OpenStudy (nubeer):

|dw:1352443422991:dw| thats how flipping is done.
