how do you find the x intercept of this inequality: y>-2x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

set y=0 and solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then how do you graph it then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the inequality y>-2x+3 is the dotted line y=-2x+3... to shade above or below the line use a test point like (0, 0)... plug those x, y values into your inequality and if it holds true, you shade the side of the line that (0, 0) is on. otherwise, you shade the other side.

thanks!

but where would some of the points be at?
