find z/w: z = 1 + i w = sqrt(3) - i I got 2*sqrt(2) (cos 75 + i sin 75) Is this right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I actually got for theta to be -285, but this isn't what my class wants. So isn't 75 equivalent to this? Would it be right? I give medals. thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what the conjugate is ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Needn't.. It's a complex division. I am using moivre's theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do 1 + i/sqrt(3) - i multiplied by sqrt(3) +i/sqrt(3) + i, is this what you got?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry but I think you misunderstand this question, that is wrong. I need this in polar form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh i see !!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to solve this in polar form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you convert z into polar form correctly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay that right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

75 is equivalent to what you did, i think you are correct,
