i want to change the matrix to \[T=\left\{ t-1,t+1 \right\}\]
hartnn (hartnn):
all u can do to get -1 is R1=R1-2R2 , but that will give u 0
OpenStudy (sirm3d):
the determinant of the two matrices are different so there's no way for the two matrices to be row and/or column equivalent
OpenStudy (sirm3d):
the first matrix \[\large \left[\begin{matrix}1 & 2 \\ 2 & 3\end{matrix}\right]\] is row/column equivalent to \[\large \left[\begin{matrix}-1 & 1 \\ 1 & 0\end{matrix}\right]\]
