What is the simplified form of (5)/(3y)-(4)/(y^2)? I need some help can some one please help me any help would be greatly appreciated.

Multiply the first fraction by y/y

i got 5y/3y^2

Now multiply the 2nd equation by 3/3

I mean the second fraction*

I got 12/3y^2

\[\frac{5y}{3y^2} - \frac{12}{3y^2}\] Now combine fractions

i ended up getting 5y-12/3y^2
