Joey starts reading at the top of page 103 and stops at the bottom of page 204. How mant pages has he read?

I keep getting this type of question wrong. is there any specific pattern or equation to use?

To find inclusive numbers take the differences and add 1
204 - 103 = 101; 101 + 1 = 102

204-103 only give u the page in between. Therefore, when you are doing minus, the left out the 1st page. Thus, u have to add 1 more page. If the question is starting at the bottom page of 103, then u do not need to add 1 =D
