strike off the obviously wrong answers: D. "inbred" WTF? C. WTF are hybrids? we're not dealing with cars here... now what's the difference between prokaryotes and eukaryotes? one has a nucleus and a bunch of other organelles, one has just genetic material, membrane, ribosomes, and protein. plasmids are pieces of DNA, and "inserting" here means making a cut in the host's DNA, and sticking this new piece of DNA in there. Is this process more easily accomplished in the presence or absence of a nucleus?
