I have a question on the last part. That I don't understand.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find H(0).. that will be your y-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not sure what you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He means x= 0 find value of y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so does that mean I have to set up x^2-36, x^4-81 to 0

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

when ever a curve crosses the y-axes, its x value is always zero. so, to find the y-intercept, you just need to evaluate the function at x=0
