What's a conjugate in Algebra Two?
I had a feeling it was switching the sign. My lesson didn't explain it, So Thank you.
your welcome :)
Would it be the same for binomials? If I had to find the conjugate of a binomial would I change all three signs, just the multiplication, or the ones in the parentheses?
give an example?
yu,,ydum i still like that name:P
yummy*
I came up with; (4+6x)(4-sqrt36x^2) Would I change the plus and the minus. Or the Multiplication in the middle (FOIL) To where it's like (4+6x)/(4-sqrt36x^2)?
or all three.
wait...lemme say that again
when you have \((4+6x)(4-\sqrt{36}x^2)\)you just FOIL if you had \(\large{{(4+6x)}\over{(4-\sqrt{36}x^2)}}\)you would do \(\large{{(4+6x)}\over{(4-\sqrt{36}x^2)}}\)\(\times\) \(\large{{(4+\sqrt{36}x^2)}\over{(4+\sqrt{36}x^2)}}\)
I know you FOIL When it's just (4+6x)(4−36√x2) But it tells me to find the conjugate of the expression I made, So.. What sign(s) would I change?
maybe you werent supposed to have two binomials...just make it (4+6x) and its conjugate (4-6x)
