I have a question I dont understnad
3. A student approaches a plane mirror at a speed of 2 m/s.
a) at what speed does her image approaches the mirror?
b) at what speed does she approach her image?


and another one ...

If a toddler crawls towards a mirror at a rate of 0.25 m/s, then at what speed will the toddler and the toddler's image approach each other?

the answer was 0.5m/s but why???

its just like you and another guy running towards each other at the same individual speed
you are running at 2 m/s and so is he so the combined speed is 4 m/s
