Can someone explain what there asking for?
Read below:
Count the number of runs in the sample. A run is a group of letters that are the same. A run can be as small as one. The example RBGGYYGBB has six runs.
This isn't really a question I just want to know what do they want? Like how to figure out what is a "Run".

A"run" is usually like a "try" or an "event".

In this case they mean a "run" is where there are two consecutive numbers that are the same. So in RBGGYYGBB, there are six runs - [1]R [2]B [3]GG [4]YY [5]G [6]BB
