what are the genetic materials that store information for their own replication and for the sequence of amino acids in proteins?
Well, it sounds like a definition of "nucleic acids." I thought about DNA for a second. Because DNA technically does contain the information for copying itself, and making RNA. And RNA is used to make amino acids. But since DNA and RNA both have to be included, I might say "nucleic acids." The two kinds of nucleic acids are DNA and RNA.
I only have to choose one because the multiple choice that I can choose from are RNAs. Phospholipids. DNAs. Monosaccharaides.
I don't think that RNA replicates itself.
DNA has information for replicating. It also has the information for making RNA. And then RNA is used to make amino acids. So technically, I think you'd be safe with DNA.
thanks
