What does the cell membrane regulate? can u plz explain thank u so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It regulates interactions between the cell and its enviroment.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the cell membrane is defined as the membrane that sets the boundaries between the cell and its surroundings. It regulates any materials that enters and exits the cell.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It includes a ton of different membrane proteins and is non negotiable for cell physiology together with interacting microtubule and other forms of the cytoskeleton. So many of these proteins are called receptors and they are main parts of the regulation and stimulation system of the whole organism (and every single cell!). Also the combination of the proteins used by every different organell (and cell type) is unique for exactly this organell (cell) and so helps to identify them by their sourounding membrane. The membrane itself is made out of lipides that have a polar and an apolar character (watch out for a picture by google) and they so souround the compartment gapless.
