OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. The differences of ATP and ADP and what makes the difference.(PROCESS) 3. When ATP is needed(THINGS LIVING THINGS DO)

OpenStudy (frostbite):

Well I got to go, so fast answers. T = tri =3 D = di = 2 ATP have 3 phosphate groups ADP have 2 phosphate groups So energy level: ATP > ADP

OpenStudy (frostbite):

ATP can be needed for every reacton where Delta G > 0 we can then add the hydrolazation of ATP that give 31 kJ/mol, so the full delta G becomes negative for the full reaction (Delta g < 0)

OpenStudy (frostbite):

And things that use ATP can be the start of glycolysis, ATP pumps, muscle contractions and so on.

OpenStudy (frostbite):

ATP-dependent-pumps* (Na/K-ATPase fx)
