3y+x>-6 how do I put the y alone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well first you can subtract x from both sides 3y>-6-x now divide 3 from both sides y>\[\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }(-x-6)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve as 3y+x=6, just replace the = with >. y>1/3x-2
