Which of the following ordered pairs is not a solution to the inequality y < -x + 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You seem to be missing the ordered pairs :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My bad, I just don't understand this, but here, please explain why, and the process of hwo you got them, I WOULD LOVE TO UNDERSTAND THIS!<3 (-3, 0) (-1, 0) (4, 3) (3, -2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the ordered pairs represent (x,y). For example in the first one, x=-3 and y=0. Plug them into your equation and see if they work! For the first one: 0<-3+6. Does that work? etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, I get that the first one comes out as 0 < 3, but how do I know if it "works"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG. I'm such an idiot, I've been looking at this so intricately that I forgot it's just basic math -_-, Thanks a bunch BluFoot!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha you're not an idiot! Good job :)
