Please translate 6 sentences? :) Thank you so much!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

****You must include at least one reflexive verb in each sentence. Choose from these words: despertarse, levantarse, banarse, ducharse, peinarse, afeitarse, cepillarse los dientes, vestirse, maquillarse, or ponerse la rope. ***That's just a side note of the requirements!! :) THanks!! :) I am in Spanish 2... simple sentences please? :) thank youuu :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) I wake up. 2) I make my bed. 3) I brush my teeth. 4) I comb my hair. 5) I put on my clothes. 6) I go eat breakfast!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is what I have.... I have no idea if they are correct... And idk if they count as REFLEXIVE VERBS... :( please check/help?? thanks so much! i appreciate it!! :) here is what i have: 1) Me despierto. 2) Hago mi cama. 3) Cepillar mis dientes. 4) Me peine mi pelo. 5) Me puse mi ropa. 6) Voy a comer el desayuno! i have no idea if they are right tho and idk if they contain reflexive verbs... thanks!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A REFLEXIVE verb is a verb that ends with SE, ME, or TE. Take a look at all the verbs that you were given, to choose from. despertarse, levantarse, banarse, ducharse, peinarse, afeitarse, cepillarse los dientes, vestirse, maquillarse, ponerse la ropa They're all REFLEXIVE verbs. And when you conjugate reflexive verbs, they always start with ME, TE, or SE. So take a look at your example for #1: "Me despierto." THAT's a conjugated reflexive verb. Now take a look at your example for #2: "Hago mi cama." That's NOT a reflexive verb. 1. "Hacer" does not end with SE, ME, or TE. 2. "Hago" does not begin with ME, TE, or SE.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so this was what i got: 1) Me despierto. 2) Hago mi cama. 3) Cepillar mis dientes. 4) Me peine mi pelo. 5) Me puse mi ropa. 6) Voy a comer el desayuno! so ohhh okay... so #1 is right?? but #2 isn't?? 3 is wrong? 4 and 5 are right?? and 6 is wrong? ;O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk so here is what i have now... idk are they right?? or close to right? :) 1) Me despierto. 2) Yo hacer su cama. 3) Me cepillo los dientes. 4) Me peino. 5) Me visto. 6) Me siento a comer el desayunar. are those correct?? or close?? @InYourHead :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) Me despierto. 2) Hago mi cama. 3) Me cepillo los dientes. 4) Me peino el cabello. 5) Me pongo la ropa. 6) Me como el desayuno!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and those all contain the reflexive verbs right?? so darn!! i was close on some of them at least!! ;P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Notice i use me in front of the verbs and i made corrections in 3,4, and 5 ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmk :) so those 6 are the 100% correct sentences?? and they all contain reflexive verbs? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah they do that's why i included "Me"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay!! :) thanks so much!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could u pls also give @InYourHead a medal?? i can only give one :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah sure thank youu!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha no! thank YOUUUUU!! :) lol :P thanks again for your help! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i just noticed, for #2, there's no "ME" in front... does that still contain the reflexive verb?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@malutella ;) sorry!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Honestly, I'm not sure but I can't think of another way to include the reflexive verb for #2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so it isn't a reflexive verb for #2?? or is there one?? :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but does #6 have one? :O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yess it does

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay!! :) cuz i have to have sentences with these words with reflexive verbs : Choose from these words: despertarse, levantarse, bañarse, ducharse, peinarse, afeitarse, cepillarse los dientes, vestirse, maquillarse, or ponerse la rope. except the last one doesn't have to include those words... :/ how can i make #2 have one of those words? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and as a reflexive verb?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh so you don't have to use the pronoun I right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can use like you, he, she, they right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to use I :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u know how to incorporate/create a new sentence that has sort of the same meaning as #2, but with one of the words i need to use?? and with "I" ? and a reflexive verb? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No cuz you have no verb hacer in your list of words

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe Yo arreglo mi cuarto

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, what does that mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is like I organize my room

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk but that's not one of these words right? despertarse, levantarse, banarse, ducharse, peinarse, afeitarse, cepillarse los dientes, vestirse, maquillarse, or ponerse la rope. its about what i do when i wake up... what about "I use the bathroom." would that work?? cuz that would be using banarse right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Me baño or you can also say Me ducho rapidamente

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i added the word rapidamente just so that the sentence is not so short ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so what does the second sentences mean?? i shower fast??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or i shower quickly?? and the first one is I use the bathroom?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and both of them have reflexive verbs right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@malutella :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I take a quick shower

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay!! and the other one was i go to the bathroom right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so Me ducho rapidamente is a better sentence right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it ducho for masculine?? and duchA for feminine?? or is it just DUCHO no matter what? @malutella ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You only have to worry about masculine/feminine differences for NOUNS and ADJECTIVES. Feminine and masculune, ONLY for NOUNS and ADJECTIVES. Alright? When you're talking about verbs, you DON'T have to worry about masculine/feminine. They conjugate by SUBJECT. Not by gender. And remember that verbs that end with O are in the YO form. "Me ducho" means "I shower." It doesn't matter if you're a guy or a girl. "Me ducho" is a verb. So it always means "I shower."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh okay!! i understand :) thanks!! :D and about the conjugating, so if u wanted to say you shower... you still put "ME" in front?? if so, is it like this? "Me duche" ?? for you shower?? just wondering :) thx!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's "Me ducho." It literally means "I shower myself." But you don't need to worry about that yet. But yeah, it's "me ducho." ME ducho TE duchas SE ducha NOS duchamos SE duchan Do you understand that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh i see now!! its different for every thing!! thanks!! :)
