Help, please? Write the equation of the line in slope-intercept form with a slope of 2 and a y-intercept of -3.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the slope-intercept form is y = mx + b m is the slope and b is the y- intercept... just substitute for your answer.

@jazy Any clue?/:

Like @campbell_st said Slope-intercept form is: y = mx + b m stands for the slope. You have a slope of 2. m = 2 so substitute 2 into the equation. y = 2x + b b stands for the y-intercept. You have a y-intercept of -3. Keep the sign and substitute -3 into the equation. y = 2x - 3 ^---That is your slope-intercept form. Just need to plug in the values.
