y = mx + b

m stands for the slope. You have a slope of 2. m = 2 so substitute 2 into the equation.

y = 2x + b

b stands for the y-intercept. You have a y-intercept of -3. Keep the sign and substitute -3 into the equation.

y = 2x - 3

^---That is your slope-intercept form. Just need to plug in the values.
