sin(-10pi/3).....why do you add +4pi? sin(-10pi/3+2pi+2pi)...why not just 1 2pi??

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

because you want the angle to be between 0 and 2pi adding just 2pi alone doesn't do the job but 4pi does

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got cha. now can you tell me why it reduces to sin(2pi/3).....because i thought -(10pi/3+4pi)=-6pi/3 which would equal -2pi @jim_thompson5910

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

-10pi/3+2pi+2pi -10pi/3+4pi -10pi/3+12pi/3 (-10pi+12pi)/3 (2pi)/3 2pi/3

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you can't just add -10pi and 4pi because you have to get the LCD first

oooooh okay! thank you so much!!
