so for tangent, cosine, and sine i just do the formula then do inverse of that then thats my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example if im solving for an angle and i use opposite over adjacent then i just do the inverse and thats my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats tangent

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Yes when you're solving for ANGLE, you end up switching to an inverse trig function at the end. If you're solving for one of the SIDES, you won't need to do that. Yah you have the right idea. :D
