false. a narrative essay is pretty much just a story. It can be told from any point of view.

in my lesson it says Narrative essays are told from a defined point of view, often the author's, so there is a feeling as well as specific and often sensory details provided to get the reader involved in the elements and sequence of the story.

well it's true, because you have to tell it in one point of view at all times. so I guess true is correct.

I think it might be true. 3rd person view is pretty much seeing what goes through everyone's head. So I'd say true.

It can be depending on the type of narrative your instructor is discussing. In the traditional view of "Narrative Essay," which is most likely what your instructor is referring to, the point of view is that of the author. So it is most likely that the answer is "True." Even if you include other "characters" in the Narration -- for the writer is imposing the words and thoughts on the other characters in the story -- still, there is one overall point of view in a _traditional_ narration: that of the writer.
