OpenStudy (koikkara):

when current passes through a wire, does voltage flow in the same direction? Also, when current passes through a conductor in a direction, what are the related parameters (such as electrons,Voltage etc) that flows in the opposite direction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For your second question, if your current is a conventional current, then electrons flow in the opposite direction

OpenStudy (koikkara):

thanks ....then whether voltage too flows in the opposite direction?

OpenStudy (koikkara):

If yes, then of course, both voltage and electrons may be same....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not too sure about that, but I think it is in the same direction, as voltage is actually the potential difference of the energy, so it should be same direction as your current

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Voltage and electrons are not the same

OpenStudy (koikkara):

hmm....then in case of npn and pnp transistors,Assume base current flows in the forward direction, then in which direction does voltage across the emitter-base flows?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, I'm kinda rusty on my circuit components, so can't really help you on that sorry

OpenStudy (koikkara):

that`s alright....thanks for the tip.....
