Choose the correct slope of the line that passes through points (-6,-6) and (-3,1). -7/-3 3/7 7/3 -3/-7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[Slope = \frac{ y2-y1 }{ x2-x1 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x1,y1) (x2,y2) Just to add, it doesn't matter which order you use to find the slope, you could have y1-y2/x1-x2 or y2-y1/x2-x1, as long as you are consisten with the variable that comes first on the top and bottom.

@arooj so whats the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7 over 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't matter if it's -7/-3 or 7/3, because they're both 7/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because Negative over Negative = Positive.
