PLEASE HELPPPP i dont know what to do next :( Enter the trigonometric equation (sin, tan, or cos) you would use to find x in the following right triangles. Do not solve the equations. https://media.glynlyon.com/g_geo_2012/11/groupi33.gif the link of the pic is above^

You find x

Don't use cosine. You're meant to use sine. SOHCAHTOA. Pronounced Soccertoe'r. Use that in future questions. S=Sine O= Opposite H= Hypotenuse C= Cosine A= Adjacent H=Hypotenuse T=Tan O= Opposite A= Adjacent.

So when you you have the the term x opposite the angle and then a number on the hypotenuse, that gives a clear indication that you should use sine. SOH meaning Opposite and hypotenuse correspond with Sine. \[\sin 70= x/8\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x=8\sin70\] Multiply both sides by 8. Now solve for x.
