This is all about (positive) integers. Some numbers can be written as the product of two other numbers, e.g:\[48=6 \cdot 8\]Such numbers are called composite numbers. Some numbers can only be written as the product of two numbers if these are 1 and itself:\[7 = 1 \cdot 7\]Such numbers are called prime numbers. Prime numbers are: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19 etc. 1 is not composite and not prime, because it doesn't fit either of the cases described above. The rest of the integers are composite.
