OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it a mulitple question

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

yes.. im putting the answer on right now

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

A. D2 T<0,-6> B. D2 T<1, -3> C. D1/2 T<1,-3> D. D1/2 T<0,-6>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get what it is saying

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

me neither im so confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahha yeah lol

OpenStudy (phi):

rigid motions and a dilation maps EFGH to the dashed figure? first, count how long side HG is. you have to estimate because it the line starts halfway between 2 tick marks. now look at the dashed figure. How long is its longest side? what number should you multiply the length of HG to get this new longer side? that is the "dilation factor" D check to see if it makes sense. How long is the short side HE ? multiply by the dilation factor. How long is the shorter side of the dashed box? does it match ?

OpenStudy (phi):

Unfortunately, I can't make sense of the translation part. If you ever get the answer (be sure to ask the teacher to explain this one!) please post it here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what was the answer and explanation?

OpenStudy (mustap):

What was the correct answer? I'd like to know.
