yesh:) but the last one is a little weird

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you got y= -x - 3 correctly now plug this into 3x- 2y = 11 3x- 2y = 11 3x- 2(-x-3) = 11 ... replace y with -x-3 (since y = -x-3) 3x + 2x + 6 = 11 I'll let you finish. Solve that for x. Then use x to find y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look like it :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

what did you get for x

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

oh nvm, now use that to find y

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I'm not sure what you mean. Is this a different problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure what ur refering 2, (srry 4 upsetting u, didn't mean it)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Well you can do any two parallel lines, say y = x+2 y = x+4 and they won't have any solutions because they never intersect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh!!!!! ok. i didn't really think u would get so angry all of a sudden....did he block me 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeahh. I didnt realize what he did until I clicked on you & saw that you were blocked lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh! ok
