Help! Adjacent angles? Name an angle adjacent to FGI.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I would guess that it starts with FG. There are two!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

JGI HGJ DGE HGE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Adjacent angles have same vertex so..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The same side too?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

We're not talking about adjacent angles. Were talking about angles adjacent to a given line segment. Whatever angle you state, one side of it MUST be FG.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand. All I have is this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

JGI!! the last option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Adjacent means next to each other

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

My bad. I was reading "FG!" - Like you were really excited about "FG". I see that it is FGI, an actual angle. Sorry for the misunderstanding. We shoudl use type styles with serifs! \(\angle FGI\). Now THAT I can read.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

JGI the first option. Sorry I mean the first, not the last!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, well thank you. Sorry I should've have typed it in the equation box.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

So, either \(\angle FGD\;or\;\angle IGJ\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess JGI because there is no FGD choice.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

After clearing up my reading problems, there you have it! Good work and thanks for your patience.
