OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

When finding the area between the curves y=cos2x and y=0 within the points x=pi/4 and x=pi/2, must I use u-substitution in order to find the definite integral of -cos2x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would help

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what else would you use? / do

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

No idea, just making sure that is the correct approach before I start this problem. I could have been missing something considering if never found the area between two curves before.

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

I've* never found

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in that case, yes, you use u substitution
