Find the distance between the given points: (-1,5)and (0,4)
use distance formula
Distance between points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is \(\huge d=\sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2}\) does this help ??
I know the distance formula but not how to do it. Or i would have been had it done !
\[\large distance=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_!)^2}\]
x1= -1 x2=0 y1 =5 y2=4
I know this. but i still dont know how to do it .
take \[(x_1,y_1) =(-1,5)\] \[(x_2,y_2)=(0,4)\]
She knows the distance formula, Let me show you an example if i have points (a,b) and (c,d) then, \[D=\sqrt{(c-a)^2+(d-b)^2}\]
then its ordinary processes like subtraction,squaring ,adding ...dont ask me how to do that :)
@jollysailorbold
no1 can help you if you can't help yourself...please try once...
Showing an example might work.
But as @hartnn says if you won't try its not gonna work.
this is not a site that does your homework for you free sorry :)
i didnt say it was? iam just having trouble with it. andf got 8 and idk how, im lost lol
can u show ur working ? :)
