So to if you wanted to find the x intercept, then y would have to equal zero, so it would be like - 6(0). Then all you do is solve for x. Same as y. Does that make sense?

No, the values are x and y, y has to be put at zero to solve for x. so you would have 3x - 6(0) = 12, then you know that - 6(0) = 0, so all you have is 3x = 12, then you have to solve for x to find out what the x intercept is.

So the answer is I wrote it on my paper and got this (4, 0) and (0, -2)
