70 degrees
OpenStudy (anonymous):
What question?
OpenStudy (ryan123345):
it is 70 degrees because it is telling you the one part of a circle is 290 degrees so you know a circle is 360 degrees so to find that little part you subtract 360 from 290 and it gives you 70 :)

1. 180 degrees. 2. 360-290=70
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i need it explained
OpenStudy (anonymous):
1. semi circles are half circles so they automatically have 180 degrees because all full circles are 360
2. the sum of all the degrees in the circle is 360 so subtract what you know (290) by that to get your answer.

is there any formulas
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Not for those to problems. You have to set up an equation to find an answer though from the information you know. You know 360 degrees in a circle and you need to find a portion of the circle from a slice of the circle. x=360-290 solve for x and you get 70
