Can someone explain to me how to find the roots of an Quadratic?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2-(\alpha+\beta)x+\alpha \beta=0\] \[ax^2-bx+c=0\] \[\alpha+\beta=-\frac{ b }{ a }\] \[\alpha \beta=\frac{ c }{ a }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's finding the sum of roots. Roots of a quadratic is just find the values of x.
