y=3x/x^2+9 list the intercepts. let me guess my y intercept is 0?

hartnn (hartnn):

if its 3x/(x^2+9), then yes, its 0.

Thanks for verifying. So when solving for the x intercepts, I need to set y to zero. This is where I'm having a problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=0 when y=0

hartnn (hartnn):

for x-intercept, put y=0 y= 3x/(x^2+9) =0 ----> 3x=0 x=0 x-intercept = (0,0)

hartnn (hartnn):

got it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Makes sense. Thanks!

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
