Okay how do I even start?
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Try and understand what the question is asking for...
"Write an inequality for the graph"
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
|dw:1359071384898:dw|
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Well I think on a graph with inequalities either all more or all less and equal too will be shaded
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
Yes, that is a good start.

but that is all I know and I guess I`m getting confused by looking at my possible answers
A. y £ |x – 5| – 5
B. y ³ |x – 5| + 5
C. y £ |x + 5| + 5
D. y £ |x – 5| + 5
OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
There are rules you need to know for shifting the absolute value function: y =|x| around. They involve the constants a and b.
So the general form looks like y = |x + a| + b.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
well I think there is going to be a negative and positive in there so it is B or D
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wait you have + a and + b does it always have to be +?
