@amistre64 ok THIS is definitely blackboard / the like >_> it's screenshot-ed even

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Charplopagus is this from an online school exam =.=

OpenStudy (amistre64):

there is no indication of school affiliation as it stands, so its fine. The issues are when they are explicitly asking for answer to verifiable schools.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i see now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well what does similar mean?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

do we know the side lengths to form the ratios with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its from a practice work sheet that was already submitted. I got the answer wrong so I am looking for help... O.o

OpenStudy (amistre64):

start by determining the side lengths to compare with

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i believe you marked the one with 6:4 in it becasue thats the only one that has sides 6 and 4; but that can be reduced

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh to 3:2 ... So then it's the first one?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yep; th eother sides are 9:6 which reduces to equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! (so I just need to remember to reduce)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yep, and I think you added the left edge of the large one and saw it as 8 instead of 6
