what about 3x^3+9x^2+6x? I get 3x(x^2+3x+12). Any further factoring I can do?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Woops maybe you made a small typo when you wrote your new factors out! You should have \(\large 3x(x^2+3x+\color{orangered}2)\) And yes you can factor a little bit more from there! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me check that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry yes I have 3x(x2+3x+2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I get (x+2) (x+1) is this correct?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Yay good job \c:/

thanks for your help! @zepdrix
