graph the equation: y=4/3x-4/3 i'm confused about finding a starting point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can really start a graph anywhere, but conventionally a graph is started at x = 0. So plug in x = 0 to your equation and find y. Plot that point and then put in x =1, 2, etc.

i'm still confused when i plug it 1 it comes out that y=-4/3 idk how to graph that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean y=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So at x = 1, y = 0. On a piece of graph paper, you would go to x = 1 and y = 0, and place a point there.

i don't understand when x=0, y=-4/3
