hey, are the equations avaible? though it looks like y=-x^2. It's a parabola.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is a parabola

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have 3 other problems just like this if you dont mind helping, its the last 4 problems of my homework.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the general equation for parabola is y=(x+b)^2, since its upside down and not moved to anywhere its y=-x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

Just need to find the equation of them all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

circle is x^2+y^2=2^2, because it has radius of 2 and in the origo. 3rd is an ellipse. it has x^2/2^2+y^2/4^2=1 4th is a hiperbola with y^2-x^2=1
