What is the value of 1 over 2^-2 x^-3 y^5 for x= 2 and y= -4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you multiplying those numbers??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay but the numbers at the bottom. Besides the exponenting thing, what are you supposed to do with them? Add? Subtract??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay yeah I think you multiply. I'm terrible at this o.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So plug in the values of x and y in the equation. 1/(2^2)(2^-3)(-4^5) Then do the exponents. 1/ (4)(1/8)(-1024) Multiply all the bottom numbers together.
