somone please help? The typical unit used in the laboratory when measuring volume is the A. pound per square inch. B. milliliter. C. cubic centimeter. D. both b and c.
The formula for the volume of a cube is length * width * height. If you have a cube which is 1 cm on each side, what would the volume be?
C
Okay, cubic centimeter would be the unit for the problem I gave. However, a milliliter is also a unit of volume, and in fact, 1 mL = 1 cm^3. Still sticking with C as the correct answer?
Typically mL would be used for volumes of liquids or gases, and cm^3 for solids.
could it be both B and C u think or just millimeters
I'm 110% sure that I've used both cm^3 and mL in the laboratory :-)
