In reference to integrals:
ive seen this on a site " ò(math stuff)dx, does anyone know what the " ò" symbol is denoting? there was not an integral sign anywhere.

it appears that they are using a particular font that changes the ò into an integral sign. I believe what is happening is that you do not have this font typeface (called "Symbol"), so it is not actually displaying it as the author intended.

Yeah, I was confused since I've never seen that character in my life. It just reminded me of something I've spotted a few times while browsing Math stuff, which looks more like this: \(\partial\), so it seemed like an integral over a boundary or something weird like that. lol

It doesn't seem like they use any other font tricks like that, so I am thinking if you just imagine each ò as an integral sign \(\int\), you'll be good. :P
