What is the value of x? This stuff kinda confuses me...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Help? Please?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

what do you know about triangles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I think that all I have to do to find the answer is to 180-(A+B) but I'm not sure...

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

they all have a total of 180°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that they all add to 180

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

k. what is given?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24 degrees and 105 degrees

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

okay you are given 24° as one of the angles, meaning we have how many angles left to look for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The other two angles. Im pretty sure that all i need to do to figure this out is 180-(24+105) and then do they simple math... But I'm not sure. Is that correct?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

why are you including 105°? that is outside of the triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wasn't sure that it was on the outside of the triangle...

OpenStudy (stamp):

Do you recall the geometric definitions of complementary and supplementary angles? Using an index, refer in your textbook to these topics.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

it is outside as you can clearly see it. with 105° given we need to figure out what is the supplementary angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay... then.. I have no idea...

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

remember that any straight line produces a 180° on each lateral side |dw:1360134412787:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, I remember that.
