y = mx + b m = slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

IMPORTANT LINE RELATED EQUATIONS TO KNOW AND MEMORIZE slope formula m= slope/ gradiant -- same thing \[m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\] standard formula \[Ax+By=C\] point-slope formula \[y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\] slope-intercept formula b= y-intercept -- in the form of (0,y) \[y=mx+b\]

@JuanitaM so is it 3??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hero @JamesJ @precal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 cuzz it in y=mx+b m is the slope

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Yes. If y = mx + c, where m and c are constants, then the slope is just m. In your case y = 3x + 3, the slope is therefore 3 (the first 3)

Yes need help...

thanks! I have another question coming up :)
