solve the equation z^2 - 6z -27= 0 by factoring

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(z+3)*(z-9)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it in standard form ax^2+bx+c you can factor using this form (z+f)*(z+g) you have to find f and g to add up and produce c and b 3 and -9 produce C and add up to b Since you dont have an a coeffecient you dont have to worry about it here.
