How would I write this statement as an inequality: x is less that or equal to 8 and greater than -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*than

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-3<x \le8\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would that be an "and" or "or" inequality?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because x<=8 and x>-3 then, -3<x<=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know what you mean by that but you'd say it like this: -3 is less than x which is less than or equal to 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I'm guessing 'and'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would I graph that since they're both pointing in the same direction?
